Portrait of Chantilly- Her story: Chantilly is what's called a PMU foal. PMU stands for Premarin which is a drug used to help women with menopause. It is produced by preganting mares and using the urine as part of this drug. The mares have foals. Chantilly is one of these foals. A good percent of these foals, because there are so many of them produced every year for just the purpose of producing this drug, end up being shipped way to end up as a meal on someone's table.
